This instrument is the culmination of the project to make new Grand Rapids-style 4/4 tubas, based on J.W. York & Sons instruments. These instruments have the signature sound sought-after by tuba players world-wide, and the projection that permeates a concert hall at any dynamic level. But, they also will blend with other instruments in a way that most tubas do not, particularly with tympani and string basses in an orchestral setting. The intonation is superb, the craftsmanship is exceptional, and I am proud to be able to offer the new York-model tubas at a reasonable price.
The prices includes a new SKB hard case with wheels, a professional mouthpiece, Hetman lubricants, and a one-year factory warranty, as well as one full servicing of the instrument at my shop within the first two years after your purchase date.
